As we wrapped up a fast-paced and demanding year, the Disrupt team knew we needed a moment to pause together. Not just to celebrate achievements, but to reflect on why we choose to walk this journey side by side, and to recharge the passion that drives us forward.
On a winter morning, Disrupters headed somewhere a little different from our usual office routine. Stepping away from familiar desks and screens, we gathered in a new space filled with anticipation and excitement. It was a day to share the challenges we had navigated, to compete playfully through AI-powered missions, and to rediscover one another beyond our daily roles. We invite you to take a closer look at Disrupt’s year-end workshop - a day defined by growth, connection, and a shared belief in what we’re building together.
2025 Year in Review: Reflecting on Growth, Aligning for What’s Ahead
The workshop opened with our 2025 Year in Review session. Rather than simply presenting numbers and results, this session focused on the stories behind them - the challenges we faced, the decisions we wrestled with, and the lessons we earned along the way. Following a company-wide presentation, teams from Management Support, Acquisition, Amazon, Performance, and Creative took the stage to share their experiences. Each team offered candid insights into their work, helping us see how individual efforts connect within Disrupt’s bigger picture. The session concluded with a shared vision for 2026, aligning our direction and reinforcing our motivation as we prepare for the year ahead.
Disrupt Awards: Celebrating Excellence, the Disrupt Way
Over lunch, we moved into one of the most anticipated moments of the day - the Disrupt Awards. This year’s awards were especially meaningful, as they recognized members who best embodied Disrupt’s core values through their everyday work and attitude. Each announcement was met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting genuine appreciation from across the team.
True to Disrupt’s spirit, the celebration didn’t stop there. Special awards, voted on directly by our members, brought laughter and energy into the room. From the Early Bird Award, honoring the colleague who consistently starts the day before anyone else, to the Style Icon Award, recognizing the member who turns the office into their personal runway. Thoughtfully prepared prizes accompanied each award, creating moments of shared laughter and reinforcing our culture of mutual respect and understanding.
Play with AI: Where Creativity Meets Technology
The afternoon sessions brought together two core elements of Disrupt’s identity: AI and creativity. Our first mission challenged teams to create a promotional video for Disrupt using AI tools. Beyond technical execution, teams were encouraged to reflect on how Disrupt’s values and culture could be expressed creatively. Despite the limited time, the results were imaginative, insightful, and genuinely fun to watch.
The second mission focused on building practical AI agents designed to improve work efficiency. Each team proposed solutions tailored to their functional needs, showcasing diverse perspectives and inventive thinking. Among them, the Creative team stood out with an especially bold and imaginative concept, earning first place. Though framed as a game, these challenges sparked meaningful conversations about how emerging technologies can be thoughtfully integrated into our daily work.
Disrupters Unplugged: An Evening of Connection
After dinner, the workshop shifted into a more relaxed networking session designed to help members connect beyond work. Through lighthearted mini-games, conversations unfolded naturally.
From guessing who sent real Google Chat messages to identifying members from childhood photos, laughter and storytelling filled the room. These simple moments revealed sides of one another that don’t always surface during busy workdays, allowing us to connect on a more personal level. It was a warm and genuine way to close out the day together.
Building Disrupt’s Culture and Vision, Together
This workshop was more than a break from routine. It was a meaningful reminder of what makes Disrupt, DISRUPT: celebrating each other’s successes, embracing technological challenges and trend, communicating with sincerity and respect. At Disrupt, we believe that individual growth fuels team growth. As we proudly close out 2025, we’re excited not only for what lies ahead in 2026, but also for the future Disrupters who will join us in writing the next chapter.
