Overview

VAKUEN is a premium food container brand that has been rapidly gaining attention both domestically and internationally.

In 2023, through its first collaboration with DISRUPT, the brand successfully executed a slogan redefinition, full-funnel advertising strategy, content planning & production, and performance ad campaign management. Within just three months, this resulted in a 131% increase in sales.

Following this success, VAKUEN solidified its position as a leading brand in the premium living market and once again partnered with DISRUPT to launch a creative refresh project covering both existing flagship products and new launches. By developing diverse creative concepts tailored to Western consumers’ culture and sentiment, DISRUPT strengthened VAKUEN’s global branding and further reinforced its presence in the international premium living market.

What we did – 1st Project

Phase 1
Strategy & Planning

In the initial project, we began with competitor analysis to define the product’s USP (unique selling proposition) and crafted a new brand slogan: “Value Freshness. VAKUEN.” We then developed a segmented ad strategy based on demographics, interest groups, and test audiences.

Phase 2
Content Production

We designed three ad concepts aligned with different stages of the customer journey (funnel). Casting models and selecting locations were carefully planned to reflect each concept. Production was optimized for multiple platforms, including Amazon PPC, Meta vertical ads, image/GIF formats, and more.

Phase 3
Campaign Setup & Optimization

DISRUPT implemented dedicated landing pages, Amazon Attribution setup, deep link integration, and conversion-focused campaign structures. Short-term campaigns linked to Amazon Lightning Deals drove remarkable results—achieving over 430% sales growth compared to average performance.

What we did – 2nd Project

Phase 1
PRE-PRODUCTION

Recognizing the rapidly changing consumer advertising landscape, DISRUPT adopts a zero-base approach for each project, conducting fresh market research and strategy building every time.

Even with prior collaboration experience, we re-analyzed the brand and market in-depth for this follow-up project. The creative and marketing teams worked together on benchmarking research, original ideation, and strategy definition to ensure precise direction.

The core challenge was balancing diverse content moods, ranging from on-brand premium tones to dynamic, lifestyle-driven visuals. DISRUPT’s in-house content team handled the full pre-production process: scenario writing, storyboard planning, art direction, styling, crew building, model and location casting, and shoot scheduling. Throughout, we maintained close alignment with VAKUEN to ensure strategy, visuals, and editing matched the brand’s objectives.

Phase 2
Production

The shoot was conducted under DISRUPT’s full in-house direction and production model.

Despite a tight schedule requiring four different ad concepts in a short timeframe and the logistical challenges of handling 20kg+ of fresh food, we ensured smooth operations through thorough planning and seamless collaboration between the production crew, lighting, art, and photography teams.

Talent direction was carefully managed using pre-developed scenarios, and during post-production we refined pacing, mood, and messaging to ensure precise delivery.

Phase 3
POST-PRODUCTION

Our creative and marketing teams jointly reviewed first cuts under a collaborative QA process to confirm that strategic intent was fully realized.

Scene structure, subtitles, music, and emotional flow were meticulously evaluated, while post-production enhancements such as motion graphics, color grading, VFX, and sharpening elevated the final quality.

By incorporating real-time feedback from VAKUEN throughout the editing process, we ensured the final content met both brand expectations and quality standards. In a subsequent partner satisfaction survey, the project received high evaluations and opened the door for further collaborations.
